Just letting everybody know an update on my own personal life. My wife and I are in the midst of really pushing the opening of our first business after several months of planning and testing! It’s actually taking up quite a bit of time, or at least it will in the following weeks, but I am still dedicated to this blog! In fact, it’s a part of my business plan for the most part.
Either way, thank you so much for visiting this crazy blog, and hopefully it’s helped to change your life even a little bit.

Ah! Mere minutes after my last post I happened across this article on a BBC news website about a man who is walking from the UK to India and is not bringing any money with him whatsoever. He is also a believer in the Freeconomy movement, and I would also say the Freedom Movement in general. Take a gander.

I just stumbled across a neat heart inspiring idea. It’s the Freeconomy Movement. Its basic premise is to move from a “money-based communityless society to a community-based moneyless society.” That lines right up with the whole “free movement” thing I’ve been talking about lately. It aims to pool human knowledge, tools, and space into local communities where people are wanting to share it all without exchanging money. It may sound crazy and out there, but so what? Sometimes the best change seems far away, we should all aspire towards something great.

I think many in the gaming community have played the award winning “Portal.” I managed to get my hands on it, and enjoyed its dark comedy and ending credits song on so many levels that I can’t describe it all. For me, Portal is a very philosophical game that raises many questions about A.I., life, and post apocalyptic scenarios about the earth getting taken over by aliens (Half-Life).
One of my favorite instances in the game is when I meet up with the Weighted Companion Cube. This wonderful and existential buddy of mine accompanied me for all of one level of the game, but that was enough to leave an impact and life lessons were forever imparted to me. Or maybe I’m looking for something that’s not there? Nonsense! There is wisdom in everything, even the Weighted Companion Cube.
This article is about those life lessons. Even a supposedly non-sentient futuristic crate can show us things- if we are looking for them.
