A man can be beaten, broken, imprisoned, tortured, mentally anguished, and any other number of things that man can do to his fellow man to cause him pain. But if they cannot pull his head out from the clouds, if they cannot cull his dreams and bring them back down to earth- then they cannot keep him from being free.

Why something rather than nothing?
This is an age old philosophical question. Since this is filed under “Random Musings,” I really don’t plan on answering it. I simply want to throw it out there for people to ponder. Why is there something rather than nothing?
Some argue that this is a clear case for a creator. But if one substitutes random particles approaching a singularity with a God, then one must ask, “Why God rather than nothing?”

There is a certain feeling in the air.
(In this article I hope to define what this movement is, what they stand for, and what has caused them to come to this point. If you feel like you are apart of this group, please contact me. I wish to get into conversation with like-minded individuals. This is a hard task, forgive my inability to articulate something so profound.)
It could just be me, but I am sensing something different. Something so subtle that if I try to look right at it, I miss it. I can’t accurately define it in a word or feeling, or even a picture. Instead, it’s found in the art, passion, activism, and human spirit that I see throughout the world as a whole. Not everyone seems to be on this boat, but a lot (mostly from the younger crowd) are on board- even if they don’t know it.
They are a group of people who are tired of both being held back, and holding others back. They fight for social change and freedom of everyone around them. They don’t wish to conform to normal standards. They don’t try to. They simply want to be free. Are you one of them?

- I’ve got an amazing wife who does a lot for me.
- I’ve got awesome, crazy, zany, funny friends who mean a lot to me.
- My College both educates me, and funds most of my living expenses.
- My business startup is running smoothly. (I’m sure I’ll write about that eventually!)
- Life is…just awesome!
Be thankful for even the most every-day things today. It will turn the gloomiest day into a bright one. I know somebody needed this.
